"Buddy" Thompson claims to be a JAG officer with the U.S. Navy, big time lie, doubt he ever was in the Navy. Has criminal past here in Virgina with 2 felony convictions for credit card fraud. He told us he was an attorney.
Told my husband he could represent him in a suit against the Navy but needed 3,600.00 retainer but could not give him retainer agreement, doing this under the table while working with Navy. Have talked to Navy, they can't touch this because he never was Navy JAG officer.
We are turning this over to the State of Maine since check was cashed there, also pleading with Commonwealth Attorney here in Virginia to take case since he already had 2 felonies already here. Has misdemeanor in Maine for Assault.
People beware he is a scam artist. Had a internet dating websit, Matchmaking Singles, site is down now "for repairs." We think that is where our money went. Just watch out for this guy. He is a big time con artist. Will take your money and give you nothing but heartache in return. Oh yes and when you ask for it back he tells you to sue him if you can find him. He likes to move around alot.
