Richard C. Thompson, Jeff Reamer and Robert J. O'Connell ran a construction ring that ripped off ourselves and many others for hundreds of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time.
These 3 individuals, with Thompson as the ring leader, agreed to build our home for us for a negotiated amount of money. After months of trying to get them to show up to build the house, we finally wised up to the fact that it wasn't going anywhere.
Little did we know that they weren't paying their bills to their subcontractors and we ended up paying the price for it with no legal recourse.
Thompson is a fly by night con man who is in and out of jail, jumping from one warrant to the next. He is definately a career criminal who will tell you exactly what you want to hear and then rip you off behind your back.
Don't be another victim. Do your research before signing with any contractor and don't necessarily believe their references. They might be in on the scam too.
