Got a letter from my bank stating that a block had been placed on my credit card because of a suspicious activity. Onlinepublicart.com had charged my account $10.92. When I called the bank to verify the card number I realized that the debit card used was an extremely old card that had not been used in over a year... in addition, there had been several hits to that card after the block was placed... And low and behold it was from simpleescapes.com. Thank GOD my bank had a fraud prevention department and placed a block before all the other charges went through! I have found lots of info on usacomplaints.com that will help me bug the crap out of these people... Beware. If you have online banking... Check it regularly for suspicious charges and get a refund from your bank immediately!!!
