I ordered the Lipo Sculpt Gel from Lipo Slim Systems. The product does not work. I didn't really believe it would but with the website stating that it had a 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied I thought all I had to lose was the shipping and handling fee.
Wrong!!! First of all I kept checking my credit card to see if there was a refund. I emailed the company and was told to contact Donald Brashear at 1-888-481-4500. He claimed that they had not received my return.
I know it should have been there because the postal service told my husband that it would take 3 days to get there. We mailed it on the 3rd of June and I contacted the company on the 10th of June. The reason I know it should have been there is we also mailed "snail mail" the same day and they had already reached my friends.
Finally, I saw they refunded $32.99 which would have been great if I hadn't paid $43.99. I emailed again. I was told the following:
PLEASE REVIEW OUR RETURN POLICY, YOU WILL FIND THAT WE CREDITED YOU THE AMOUNT THAT YOU WERE DUE.
Our Return Policy is 100% credit for unused product and 75% credit for used
product.
The Return Policy is stated on the Payment and Shipment page on our
websites.
I did look on their web site and it states:
There will be a 25% Administrative Processing Fee calculated against the total cost of ALL products being returned. Also, the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipment. All of the above product return directives must be complied with, including but not limited to the assignment of a Return Authorization Number.
Which is it? Processing Fee or is your return based off of the amount of product returned???
Why would they even state that there was 100% refund on unused products. Isn't the whole reason for a money back guarantee is to try a product and if it doesn't work as they say it will, get a refund!!!
