Www.xbox.net THEY ARE ALL LINKED! Beware of THESE 3!

Attention!!!

Beware of these 3 scam companies. Www.xbox.net, N.M.E./Pat Haines, & Protel. I can confirm that all 3 of these scam companies are linked together.

I'll start with www.xbox.net

This company seems to be an innocent gamersite dedicated to the xbox gamers. On May June they offered a 1 year giveaway to 2 gaming magazines "XBN" & "Computer Gaming World." This deal can be seen at www.dealrush.com in the May "deal archive."

Guess what, I signed up like a fool. I thought I'd save myself $50 on subscription issues. If it sounds too good to be true than it really is.in this case, if it is free, you'll pay for it in the long run. They even tell you at the end, "make sure you choose only the subscriptions you want because they have to pay for it!!!"

Guess what they use to pay them off? Money? Nope. (They give that to the other companies they are "hiddenly" linked with.) They give them your personal information you filled out to get those subscriptions!!! I don't know where they get those mags but I know they're not linked with Ziff Davis because Ziff Davis owns those MAGS. I also seriously doubt XBN or CGW will give people a whole year free without the customer at least getting 1 year with them.

EGM for example, offer a buy 1 year get another year free for $24. This is what it says on the bottom of their website:

Xbox is a registered Trademark of the Microsoft corporation. "We are not in any way affiliated with Microsoft or any other video game developement agency. We love Microsoft's Xbox and our mission is to get an Xbox into every persons hand as soon as possible, that is the purpose of this site." The Quotations I put in there, explains this problem itself. They are not linked to any other video game "developement" agency. Scratch out "development" because they didn't even spell it right.

Better yet read the entire paragraph for "maximum effect." The question is where did they get those free subscriptions? Better yet, How can they handout almost unlimited free subscriptions to hundreds of people, without giving that "company" (wherever they get those subscriptons from) without giving them your personal information? Also if you go to their website: www.xbox.net, click the contact us page & you get an error page. I wanted to email these fraud helpers but that certainly didn't help because of the magically gone contact page. Here comes one of their partners.

N.M.E./Pat Haines.

"Exactly 1 week later."

There is no way I can recieve a $1,000, 000 dollar sweepstakes without giving my information away.in my entire life I have never recieved anything like this until I gave my information AWAY TO www.XBOX.net.

I have this letter as proof and kept it as proof just in case this idiotic company tries to take money from my account. This letter comes in as "Strike It Rich IV" Sweepstakes. $1,000, 000. I did research on this company and I find it ridiculous how no one claimed any of the Strike It Rich cash sweepstakes. Let me remind you THIS IS THE 4TH iteration of this scam fest not to mention this is for $1,000, 000. Lotto, this isn't.

They give you a number to call & even give you an ID#. I called the company and this rude lady answered, I asked her plenty of times what this is for & why I recieved it, she had no reply. So I gave her what she was asking me, my name & ID#. I asked her again and all she gave me was an attidude for 9 minutes, so I hung up. Guess what? I called AGAIN. This time a guy with a texas accent picked up. I asked him how did I receive this?

Guess what HE SAID? Did you subscribe to any "magazines or credit card companies?" "Magazines" is the key word, www.xbox.net was in this along. I have subscribed to magazines years ago straight from the Ziff Davis company during the time the Strike it Rich Scam Sweepstakes took place & I never recieved any of this until now. The only reason I know this because I have been doing research on these unintelligent scam artists.

He also asked a weird question is this a male or female? I was like WTF? I asked the guy a question which caught him off guard, "Who is Pat Haines?" He took minutes to reply & said Uh, it's just the name we use. If these guys aren't locked up for fraud yet, then I feel for them in the future, when they start messing with the wrong type of guys, like mobsters.

You can read all about N.M.E./Pat Haines if you do some research an you'll find out these guys steal money from you account if you give them enough information. DO NOT RELEASE ANY BANK/SOCIAL SECURITY/OR WORK NUMBER TO THESE SCAMMERS! You can even read all about them on this website. On the back of the sweepstakes there is an unsubscribe number. I dialed it & it removed me from the list to get this devious phone call from the next linked company:

Protel.

Their number is 1-708-418-7486. This company says it works for the Wells Fargo Identity Theft Protection Agency and uses this number 1-877-816-8243 and one of the representatives is named Raymond Jackson.

Once N.M.E. Removed me, they passed me onto Protel. The funny thing here which killed the scam is that I called Wells Fargo just days before this phone call and asked if they provided Identity Theft Protection & you know what Wells Fargo said?"IT IS ALREADY PROVIDED TO ALL WELLS FARGO MEMBERS AUTOMATICALLY." Call them for yourselves.

To embarass these people even more is that I have caller ID, that's how I found out the number. They called me at 1-708-418-7486 and gave me another number 1-877-816-8243. Wow, what a stupid mistake. These motherF'ers ask for your accounting number so they can charge you hundreds to thousands of dollars. I hung up.

Www.xbox.net gave my personal information to N.M.E./Pat Haines, they couldn't get me so then they passed it to Protel, what's next?

Also note that N.M.E./Pat Haines are linked to more fraud companies out there that I don't know of. I hope you the people, read my complaint and will learn from my mistakes.

Usacomplaints.com PLEASE PUT THESE 3 FRAUD COMPANIES TO PRISON BEFORE THEY HURT millions of UNAWARE people.

Once of my favorite quotes is in an XBox game called Max Payne.

"When you start pushing a person too far, that person will start pushing back."
