We have been receiving invoices for payment of $299.95 for advertizing no one authorized. Upon calling we were told our first order was in 2001 and it automatically rolls over every year unless we cancel.
We were told directories were mailed out all three years, but we never received anything. Upon checking we discovered we fell for the scam in 2001 and issued a check.
When I told the person on the phone we had not ordered anything nor received any directories and were not paying, he commented, "Of course we will pursue payment", and hung up on us.
We placed a call to a legitimate directory company that we had ordered from in the past and they alerted us to this scam.
Someone should complain to the Canadian authorities and get them put out of business.
