I know this was stupid of me to do, but here goes:
In July I placed ads on TV web sites, stating that I was "looking for VHS copies of the TV soap As the World Turns." Shortly, I received an e-mail from a Marcin Grabowski in Poland who stated they had those episodes. I sent them $1650.00 via Western Union (as requested). A few weeks later Marcin stated they mailed my tapes, but to this date I have no tapes or refund.
Since then I have communicated via e-mail with Marcin demanding my money back. They kept assuring me they would pay me back in three months or whatever, but never kept their promise. When they saw my negative posts about them on some TV tape trading sites, they threatened me (via e-mail) saying they have friends in the U.S. Who can ruin me. They also have used obscene language. As of the last two months or so, they do not answer my e-mails any longer.
I already have communicated with the Attorney General office, Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau but none of them can offer me any advice.
Recently I have come in contact with other individuals who have been frauded by this person (I have their names & e-mails).
