They were really enthuastic about me and had asked me to come in the same day.
Upon arrival i noticed that the office was really bare with the old metal fold up chairs and nothing on the walls no computers in replace of all that they had one desk in front for their so called receptionist and one in an office for the so called owner or independant contrators (managers) they had radios everywhere and how convient that they were playing 90% of the interviewees favorite station, not to mention the inside basketball court in the other room... They just made it look so fun and had convinced me that they weren't going to waste their money on decorating
instead trying to rush to train these new people to sale but in their words manage your own office.
1st interview - one on one with manager - they asked me what skills i thought that a manager should posess and to rate myself from 1-10 on how my attitude was. And then asked me to name off up to 3 qualities about myself. After that they asked would i be home from about 5:30 to 6:00 pm for a call back on a second interview and i said yes i recieved my call at 5:59pm you know cause i was really hyped about being called back. And i did get the second interview.
2nd interview - i was told prior to come dressed in business casual. I showed up at my selected interview time and sat in a group interview and was given description of yhe company and what is was all about. They told me about a guy named Larry Haun and his incredible marketing skills, not to mention he was a millionaire, and marketed several house hold name products. They told me that in a 60-90 day training period they would teach me these skills then i would open my own office in my own choice area and make a minium of 30-40'000k per year. They said there was no network marketing, no door to door residential, and no telemarketing. They said i would earn while i learned. I would do the hiring and firing, inventory, books, managing, scheduling, motivating staff. That it would be a fun family atmosphere with average people. That i needed to be career commited. They still hadn't told me that i would do selling to make all of my income during training. After group interview katie did two at a time interview with myself and the other 24 on my group. She sent the other person out and told me that i was their number one choice for the position and asked me to arrive for the first day of orientation.
3rd day - orientation-
began training they told me that there was 3 phases of training, first was basics / training evaluation, management, administative. Then began to tell me no hourly wadges but daily pay that i was an independant contractor in training. They had told me that all of the training was in office (another lie) i was still unaware that i would be selling on the street all of the time. They told me about the commision on the bottles sold ex. If i sold 1 bottle for $30 i would $10 for myself because i had to turn $20 into them when in truth they get their bottles for $11-13. And don't forget the service charge for credit cards and check which is $2 per bottle not to mention the money bonuses for selling a certain quota. On this night they came up with a contest (scam) telling you it would be easy to make 10 sells to friends and family without even having any samples.

SCRIPT-PITCH:
hey, how are you doin'? Great! I just started a new career with a perfume company and tonight only i can get you a perfume at wholesale prices. This is what i've got. How many do you want?
They also said that any transactions would count doulbe towards the 50 that i needed to proceed to second phase of training. They made me still believe that i only had to make 50 sells. (lie)
so i went to work day in and day out from anywhere to 8 am to 5 am. To try and make as many sells as i can to advance in training that is why i wasn't to concerned about the money because they brianwashed me to think that it would pay off in the long run. (it didn't) they also promised paid vacations. Oh by the way i forgot to mention funcars, satalites, and week longs
these are anywhere from 2 to 7 days out of city or out of state trips to pitch to people that have never before heard of the company or products. Oh and also they told us to not listen to loved ones who tell us that the company is fake a fraud a scam or sounds to good to be true. So all in all for the last 4 weeks with the company i have worked about 400 hours and didn't make enough to eat no less pay my bills or daily living expences.in my personal opinion this company is bullshit and i will gladly spread the word so that other innocent peolpe don't get taken advantage of.
