Okay...
So... This is really unfortuante and I hope no one else falls for their scams. But I signed up with Penn Foster a couple years ago, under the impression that I could cancel within a time frame of 30 days no charge. It seemed like a viable option for school, and something that would coninside with my work schedule. The 30 day gurantee, well that claim is COMPLETELY FALSE! I decided to change schools, and go with something I knew would be legitament since I was weary about online schooling. As soon as I recieved the "books", (which were complete sorry excuses for being instructional or informational at best) for the program I realized this would be of absolutely no benefit to me learning anything and my future career or education I wanted to cancel. So, I called the school up and asked them to withdraw me and then they were like "Okay, well you owe us 1200 dollars and so many cents." I was at a loss for words! How could I owe them so much money? I was under the impression of a 30 day money back gurantee. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCHOOL! The place is a diploma mill, the education is a joke and laughable for most employers, and most importantly don't waste or lose out on a fortune of your hard earned money. I unfortunately learned this the hard way, and I am still paying for it to this day. It's not worth it.
