I just checked my account online today, and noticed a charge of $9.95 that had been taken from my account. The description wasn't familiar to me, so I went to check it out.
It said I had paid with my debit card to "MWI Simple." Remembering a site I had seen through fastweb.com while searching for scholarships, I decided to investigate. The fastweb link was actually for gift cards, but one of the stipulations was signing up for a special offer, including Simple Escapes.
I wrote a letter to the customer service department at my bank, I have yet to receive a reply. I tried searching for "MWI Simple" online and came across this site. My loss hasn't been that large - yet - but I wanted to do something before it was too much.
