I was told from an Everest University online sale customer service rep that oh Everest has the accreditations to transfer anywhere and also she has a list of all the school are credit and Everest was on her list. I asked her about transferring my credits from a different school to that Everest because they never transfer my credits from first time I went to school at Everest and she stated she needs to make sure that the school is credit. I told her I am sure they should transfer because it was state operated from a technical school. Remind you, she was supposed to email the list of credit schools to me in 2007 and now it 2011. Still havent not received that list.
But I signed up for Everest university online to get an Business degree I have done two semesters with Everest and then I had a default with financial aid or student loans so I couldnt go that next semester so they kept calling me to come back which at the time I was naive to all of this. I told her sure sign me back up but for some reason or another the loan didnt go through received the text books in the mail and everything the urgency to get me back enrolled was there killing them, I took the classes half way through the semester and they dropped my classes. They stated that I need to complete the paper work again. So I decided to enroll at a differ school to get more interaction with the school and face to face responses but just like everyone else my credit did not transfer and I was very upset I had been to another school as well and them credit transferred.
I am just upset about this because all that time and effort I put into going to school was wasted and on top of that I have incurred over 7500 in debt I heard you put Everest on your resume employers dont call back it a joke to them but luckily I got out sooner then so many victims to this. I have filed a report with the BBB because it not credit Business so I am waiting to see what my outcome will be. I am hoping it will erase no student loans.
Please everyone the are many technical schools out there and you know that they are credit so why get yourself in debt with these schools that are not credit. Let me tell you I almost did it again but thanks to rip off report I had the knowledge to review reports on that school and they have the similar stories Strayer University College. So everyone be careful because the only people is suffering is the people that just trying to make it through these hard times and there are many evil people trying to make a profit to only benefit their selves. So if you are thinking about going to this school or any school please do your research and dont overlook comments because if they have more than one complaint it got to be some truth behind it.
