Northcentral University's Board of Directors do take advantage of students, especially since they offer financial aid. Twice during 2010 they made changes regarding tuition. First they made students started paying dissertation fees during the beginning of the research stage, then later, after collecting money from I am sure many students they said it was a new policy to include it in the new tuition package. They made NO allowances for those who had made a partial payment, at least not in my case, which was 25% paid or $600. This fee was in addition to the classes.
If you questioned anyone at the university, they assured you that it was in your best interest for this to take place. This is sad because I am sure most people make a low wage there, except for maybe the president who is on the board.
The only thing I can suggest is if you are already a student, get finished as soon as possible. If you are contemplating going there, be sure and way ALL your options.
YOU TEACH YOURSELF, as it is at most graduate level programs.
