We bought i90c phone with a $25.00 rebate. The rebate was denied due to no activation. We included a copy of our first bill with the rebate info showing the $35.00 activation fee.
Began calling the rebate company and was told for the next seven (7) months that our rebate had been forwarded to the special handling department. Finally was told that the rebate could not be honored because the account had now been closed and no checks could be issued!
Wrote to Timothy Donahue, Pres/CEO of Nextel, including all documents pertaining to this issue, but he never responded.
