Regarding information about the genuinity of appointment letter

I have got an appointment letter from JWU, Providence, RI, USA (Employee Code: JWU0671256US) for the post of lecturer in Chemistry through the email address by the hand of Mrs. Ashley Evans, Recruitment Coordinator-Career Development, JWU. According to that letter, my place of posting will be campus Providence, RI and the extended joining date is 14/07 undersigned by MR. Fredrick Hutt, General Manager, Human Resourse Department. Please let me know the genuinity of this appointment.
