I came into this school thinking I had amazing opportunities ahead of me. The admission representatives were amazing and very encouraging. I thought this was what I had always dreamed of, but once I was actually in the program everything changed. You are being taught nothing. They gave us new books but then when it came to the tests we were being tested from the old books that we had no access to. This in turn was making people fail tests. We would voice to the teachers that the questions on the tests were either not information in our books at all or they were different answers from what our books had told us, yet they did nothing to change this or change our grades. We had teachers that would not show up for class or show up late giving us no time for lecture which caused students to have to teach themselves rather than having a professor there to educate you and help you with anything you were misunderstanding. They lied about their graduation rate, retention rate, and percent of students who go on to pass their NCLEX. They never informed anyone that since they only teach you the minimum of what you need to get a diploma and take your boards, our credits do not transfer to any school. So since I was in the LPN program with them, if I wanted to continue on to get my RN, I had no other choice than to stay with their school. The most recent issue I came across with them is I became ill but since the new attendance policy I had to stay in class to in order to remain a student at the school. I had reported my issue to the administration who told me I was okay to take time off to have an important surgery, but when it came time to have the surgery and I had informed them of the exact date they told me that I will be kicked out of the program, even though our attendance policy stated that hospitalization would be an excused absence. They went through and said they were kicking out all students who violated attendance policies yet no one was informed of the exact attendance policy or notified that they were on probation for their attendance. Rather than allowing them to kick me out of the program and lose all of my financial aid as some students will, I had to withdraw from school and find a new program. I lost over $7,000 dollars to this school because of their issues with not keeping students properly informed and not helping us get the education we paid $25,000 to get. I feel as if this program is just a scam trying to get students in, get as much money as they can from them, and get them out anyway possible. I hope no one ever has to go through all the many issues I have with this school and no one else looses their money to these scam artists.
