DeVry University Poor Credit Transfer, Enrollment Scam & "Screw you" Withdraw Practices

Let's Start at the beginning. When I transfered classes, my English "Composition II" class did not transfer. It should have been accepted for DeVry's "Advanced Composition" class. The only difference is labeling, some schools use "II" and others "Advanced". It is a general course and I have seen both labels used before by other schools but it seems that because my previous schools used "II" instead of "advanced" the credits did not transfer. I tried to fight it but never succeeded.
After a few months I decided that the program was fine but just not what I wanted to do. I contacted DeVry and it seems difficult to explain to them the I wanted to withdraw from the school not just the classes. Later I received a phone call from DeVry. The man on the phone explained that if withdrew I would owe DeVry over $4,500 out of pocket for the classes but if I stayed with the school they would cover it out of my next funding check. I told him I still wanted to withdraw. At this point he got very rude and upset (I guess he got a bonus if I stayed?). Later on I found out the bill was only $3,500 because they were including the next week of classes that I had not started (Sounds more intimidating if you add them in I guess?). However, I was still billed over $1,000 for the previous week because I Logged in for around 10 minutes on the first day of the week. That is I was billed $100 a minute for my last week of class!!! Now four months later they send me a letter saying I now owe them $31 in interest! The offered me a payment plan but at $370 a month it's just not possible. I just wonder how much more in "fees" are going to be added to this.

If this is not enough to prove there greed (and "revenge" to those who try and leave). Then check this out, I got an email saying that I would be entered to when a free electronics device (not going to advertise for them by saying what) if I enrolled. That is like saying "if you take out a multi thousand dollar loan and give it to me, Then I might give you a hundred dollar gift". That's just a scam to lure in young people.
