Coaching Institute
Has anyone won the battle against these guys yet?

Are there any survivors out there? I became a victim of Coaching Institute late summer of 2008. They came into our town and Paula Workman did her magic. I fell for it hook, line and sinker and now, I not only did not get the services I was promised, my credit is now ruined because I refuse to pay Aqua Finance the $6,000. I know there are a lot of others out there from all over the country and I want to know if anyone is going to or has filed a class action law suit against these crooks.

A little more history on my situation. I went to the seminar, was fed lunch and convinced that this was the way to go (does that sound familiar?). I had made a few small investments locally but this sounded too good to be true. Of course, it was! Not only did the computer program they "sold" me not work but my coach simply disappeared one day. I tried to call his cell, left messages and emailed him repeatedly. Becoming suspicious, I started calling CI.interesting, their phone was disconnected with no forwarding number. I then did a little snooping. I found one of their other coaches off the brochure who told me that not only had they shut down operations, they had moved to another location and started up again with a different name, same game. He and other employees were in the process of suing them for back wages. Guess we weren't the only ones stiffed.

By this time, Aqua Finance wanted to be paid and I told them no. They told me that they had already paid CI so I owed them the money. I still said no. Since then, I have retained an attorney who tells me that I need to hold my ground however, they can decide to sue me. I have had some correspondence with them since then and they of course deny everything and they say that I was the one who quit on them. Not true. After my coach went awol for almost 2 months, he called me out of the blue and tries to do a 30 minute coaching session. I'm at the grocery store so needless to say, I can't take his call right then. I told him what I thought of CI and he did not deny one thing. He told me he too had not been paid for some of his coach calls. I told him I was not willing to take his call at that time and sure enough. I get a letter from CI saying that I refused to complete the calls and they were not at fault.interesting as this is the only correspondence/contact I have had with this company since last February. Go figure.

If Aqua Finance did indeed already pay CI, then why am I not still receiving their services? Yep, it's a scam. Didn't take that to convince me. I would like to know if they are still operating out there and if anyone else has fallen prey to these guys. Has anyone filed a suit against them? Is there one I can join? I intend to fight this to the bitter end. I have not heard a word from the attorneys they hired to come after me since I wrote them a letter almost 3 months ago that included copies of some of the letters others have written to usacomplaints.com. Either they get it and are going to leave me alone (probably not) or they are getting ready to let the other shoe fall. I sure would like to hear from some of you that went through this. And for those who haven't, watch out!
