To anyone out there looking for the truth about John Robert Powers in Bloomington MN. They are not a ripoff! My son started at JRP in Dec. 2008. What he has learned from this school is everything we hoped for and more. Just five months into his classes at JRP he was picked up by an agent and has had many auditions. He has done some print work and attended a national acting and modeling competition. Where he won an award. He was contacted by several agents out of LA and New York. No, he is not a super star, at least not yet, but he is still working hard. They never claimed to make him a super star they claim to give him the tools to make him successful. And he is on his way. Those that claim JRP to be a ripoff have no idea what it takes to succeed. It's hard work and persistence.
John Robert Powers equips you with what you need as an actor and a model. They never claim to hand it to you. Like all success it comes with hard work. They work hard for you, but they can't do it alone. You need to be willing to put in the work as well, and so does your child. If it were easy every kid would be a super star. I am just thankful for the wonderful life lessons my child has received from JRP. He is doing what he loves to do and working to make it and if he never does become a super star he will have been given something much greater. And that is the knowledge and wisdom that comes from learning. He will always have what JRP has given him, no one can ever take that away. Thank you John Robert Powers Bloomington, MN.
