My husband and I enrolled our daughter at this "Acting School" February. We had to pay $2,450.00 for the 6 month class session upfront. Some parents paid as much as $9,900.00 for their sessions. My daughter who is only 12 years old started her first class March 9. The classes run 1 class per month for 4 hours. She has only received 3 classes and is extremely upset and disappointed with what has happened.
Stanley Robinson, owner of PMAA filed bankruptcy without any notice to the clients or the employees. I received an email from one of the employees from the company informing us what had happened, and advising clients to seek legal counsel. She was very helpful, otherwise we would not have known about the bankruptcy.
Apparently this Stanley Robinson has done this before with John Robert Powers franchises. This man needs to be stopped! He has taken money from families fraudulently and has stepped on the dreams of innocent children who worked hard at these classes.
Anyone out there who wants to get your child into modeling or acting don't pay out any money until you do some research and more research. I thought I had researched this company quite thoroughly. This man is very deceptive so beware!
