I just quit yesterday to go into a honest job. Here is the low down on what ITT does to its students.
1. On Pg 37 of the Handbook is a statement that should be highlighted to read that a students credits are non-transferable to any other college or university unless it is another ITT Tech school.
The representatives there don't necessarily tell you this. It is a student's right to know this information. If you plan on transferring to another college besdies ITT, you will find out you can't. Your degree is worthless.
2. The representatives do not earn commission, they earn a yearly salary. Also the representatives are taught by any means necessary to recruit students. That means they lie to you about how much school is going to cost you.
For instance, there is a rep there that tells students that the tuition is X amount of money and follows up by saying, "this is not your cost. The governent is going to give you money to pay for school and it is free." There are more stipulations to this. They are not allowed to say such things about Financial Aid since they are not financial aid.
3. The employees are abusive to their students. They make horrible remarks behind the students backs while laughing all the way to the bank.
Beware in going to this school.
