I'm not sure if any if you are familiar with myspace. However on myspace there are certain "game applications" in which you can play along wiyh friends. On these applications they have what is called "Favor Points" which allows you purchase or do special things in that particular game application. Well there are two ways you can get favor points. One is you can straight up by them, or you can get them by joining, buying, or trying different offers from affiliates such as netflix, weight watchers, video professor etc. I opted to do the video professor option because it was only like $4.95 and it awarded 220 favor points (which is alot if you know anything about myspace apps. I signed up by phone, and chose the ebay option. I was told that I had 10 days to cancel the order. Being that I really didn't want or need the ebay app. (I was only doing it for the favor point on myspace) I immediately called and canceled no more than an hour later after I recieved confirmation that I had been awarded my favor points. To make a long story short I gets a call from my car company telling me that my payment was behind 3 days and had been declined 3 times. Puzzled I called my card company only to find that there was a charge for $189.95 From video professor posted the day before. I was devistated, to be late for my car payment, however I didn't panic because I thought it was just some misunderstanding. When I called Video Professor, I will admit the phone reps where curtious, however I was disappointed to find that they tried to convince me that I never canceled. To make matters worse, I never got the product, and they told me I had to wait for 21 business days until the money was to be refunded. I called on June 15th and was told the cancelelation and refund had been proceed. Well here it today July 15th (the 22nd buisness day by the way) and still my funds haven't been returned. I called and was told that it normally takes 21 to 30 business day (now they added the 30 to it, I was never told this at first. I was told 21 buisness days initially, believe me I missed my car payment so this is definately something I would remember, not to mention I counted and marked the business days on my calendar!) They gave me a line, like "oh we red flagged this " or we "expedited it to the accouning department? LIke what the hell does that mean? Lol Well I heard about this site through a co-worker who over heard me having a few select words with the video-professor rep on the phone... I wished I had known about this site sooner... I will let you know on the 31st day whether or not I got my money back.
