For the last 2 years, through Newport News, FCNB would charge a fradulant amount of $100 onto my charge account for some phony magazine subscription that I supposedly had okayed. I had to call them twice to have them removed. It was very stressful and FCNB was not helpful. They insisted that I must have agreed to it somehow. I exclaimed that I hadn't— to no avail.
FCNB now owes me money for over-payment, since their affiliation with Newport News has ended, I chose another credit card to pay my balance owed FCNB and transfer the amount. FCNB has not sent my credit owed for over-payment and I cannot get a LIVE PERSON to talk with about this.
If there is a class-action suit getting on the way against FCNB I will most certainly will participate!
