I signed a contract on January 9th for 8 weeks of music lessons for our three girls. I was contacted by a teacher and received the 8 weeks. We were happy with her and Amadeus at this point and was contacted by Amadeus on February 18th that is was time to renew and the teachers needed enough time to get their schedule together for the next session. We renewed the contract for another 16 weeks with Amadeus for $1,780.00. I have not been able to get a response from them on getting my copy of the updated contract and my teacher has not been paid for our new session.
I was notified by our teacher on Friday April 3 she has received an e-mail from a prior employee she dealt with indicating it was all a scam and to beware. Our teacher called me and said she cannot continue our lessons through Amadeus and she would love to continue directly. Which we will do but will be paying for a second time. She has not been paid for any lessons in our second session and appears she will never get her money from Amadeus. They have been avoiding her calls and mine for quite some time.
I began doing some research as this sounded so familiar. I remembered when researching for a company to use that there were a couple companies that I was amazed at the amount of complaints. Yet the company we chose only had one complaint at the time and so many good comments. It appears they are all the same people and they just keep starting a new website and scamming people by stealing thousands out of their bank accounts and charging thousands over and over to the credit cards. I have now found myself in the middle of what I thought I was avoiding by using this company.
