It has been three long miserable months. This school is a joke and i should have known better. From instructors lacking complete knowledge to sometimes even common sense, to being too busy on their full time job to prep our work. I have been harrassed and humiliated besides being forced to withdraw due to their lack of respect for their students. I attended Concorde for three long months, changed my entire life for the next 2 years to take their part time LVN program. I need not say more since the previous post from the Colorado Alumni pretty much says it all. I mean it seems as if he was telling my story. I have had 2 two hour meetings with the campus president, the dean and the nursing director leading me to believe it will be taken care of since january! Wow it is now april 1st and i am still waiting to speak to someone. Why should i have to pay money to them for their mistakes? Who in their right mind would continue at a school where monEy is take over receiving an education.
Funny i was an A student of theirs, got high 90's on almost all my homework, tests, quizzes and finals but the minute i spoke up to tell them their program was so disorganized and that they should consider us for the 30,000 dollars we are paying; next thing you know i failed my anatomy and physiology module. I was told i needed to remediate by Mrs Barraza (she works for Kaiser) and when i told her she had set me up for failure she stated, 'i did not set you up for failure, you are a failure and your work proves it.' very nice encouragement words, coming from your canpus nursing Director (or atleast that's what she claims to be her tittle)
All i have asked the school to do and it is the least they can do after everything they've put me through, after missing time from work, paying high fees for child care and neddless to say all the time wasted and the money that's already come out of my pocket is to not charge me a dime and we can pretend this never happened. They have obviously been avoiding this, thinking i will just let it go. Some one please help. This has put a total stop on future school loans and i have lost all hope of some day becoming that nurse i've dreamed of since i was a little girl.
