I'm afraid I was a little too late in getting wind of comments on SCI. I cancelled on the same day or the day after and stopped the payment so they did not owe me anything. But they slaped on a $300 cancellation fee! I returned the shipment I had reeived in the meantime in the 1st week and the place is only a few miles away so it certainly got there before the limit they set.
But even if it didn't such a cancellation fee, which is almost half the amount of the enrollment, is exorbitant, excessive, gratuitous, unreasonable, and it might even be illegal.
I will be contacting the user named Justice concerning possible legal action against them
