OK, I posted on Tuesday, and I already got my money back. It seems like a lot of other people didn't. Maybe they are desperate, or maybe I scared them.
The first thing I did was call and demand my money back and a cancellation. I mentioned seeing this website and my concern about not getting the money. I was polite BUT firm. The number is 888-888-8553. There was also a number listed of 877-513-4175, which I didn't call but feel free to try it. I then called my credit card company and explained the situation. They told me that since I had been promised the money in 10 days, if I didn't get it within 30 days they would take action.
The next thing I did was email CIC. The address is [email protected] When they responded, they wanted to know my account name and password and email and stuff. I told them I didn't have one because I never signed up. I also mentioned this site and casually mentioned the lawsuit that is mentioned on this site. They promised me a refund and I saved the email.
I called the DAY AFTER I called the first time to make sure they were working on my refund. I made sure to mention the website and my concern. I was promised the money in "7-10 days, maybe less"
I didn't do anything today, and tonight the money was refunded on my credit card bill online.
