After doing business with this company for over 6 years, I decided to change companies in Oct. 2002. This is March and I am still getting service charges from these people. I had to close out my bank account to keep them from debiting it, and now they have turned it over to a collection agency to try and collect fees that were never incurred.
They debited my account for 2 months after I requested in writing that they terminate my service, and they are still trying to collect service fees. The collection agency says they are going damage my credit rating, and I have a 750 credit score.
This is hard evidence that I always pay whatever I owe and on time.in my opinion, this action is somewhere between fraud and extortion on their part, in demanding I pay money that I don't owe, and threatning to damage my credit if I don't pay. When I try to call them, I get a recording and leave a message, and no one ever calls back.
