DON'T buy from these horrible companies!!! The purchase from hell!!!...
I bought the wonderful V2premier computer by Viscom from Shop NBC. They said you'll love it, any problems you get 1 year on site tech. 24 hour tech support, ya right. I bought it for the kids for Christmas, since they were going to ask Santa for a computer. $2149.95. Got it on 11/24/02 gave it on 12/25/02. Both kids loved it and thought Santa was just great.
2 weeks later the mouse stopped working. Now after 50 days it still doesn't work. 28 calls to Viscom always atleast an hour on the phone. 3 techs out to my house. New mouse, 2 motherboards, new memory sticks, new floppy drive, new recovery disk. Still doesn't work.
2 calls to Shop NBC, not their problem after 30 days. I had to drive to UPS 6 times to "return the broken parts within 14 days or we will charge you for them" The part that really kills me the most is that my 8 year old and 3 year old were writing a letter to Santa today to tell him they hate him for what he has put Daddy through.
