I simply cannot believe that the Harvard Professinal Group is still in business.in fact they have 3 offices. The one that I was lied to was in Edison, N.J. Please read the following about a brief describtion and save yourself from lost TIME and MONEY.
I answered an ad in the NYT about job employment. They stressed how they only help "professional candidates". They invited me in to their Edison office. I met with Michael Poz. He in a few words is a Tony Robbins clone. He started reviewing my situation and starting listing all the areas where HPG could help me. He invited me back after "conferring" with others to tell me they could help.
I went back and he starting naming all of these firms that were hiring where they had "personal" contacts. THEY NEVER ONCE MENTIONED $ was involved. I found this out on the 3rd visit. They wanted $6,000.00 for me to be able to use their expert service.
They told me they would get me a job that would re-imburse the fee that they charged me. Yeah right. Being that I don't have that much cash, and I smelt the B.S. That was brewing I made them an offer he shouldn't have been able to refuse.
I said well once you get me the job you promised I'll give you $10,000.00. What do they have to loose. He was shocked at my question and told me I was unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE.
I did a little research on my own. Their claim to fame is to know high-management people at top firms. They get in touch with their sources and get you a job. They show you letter that they write on your behalf.
Well I remembered one of the names off one of the letters. It was a Mr Weldon from Johnson & Johnson. Well it turns out Mr Weldon is the CEO.
These idiots get your money and claim to know the CEO's of companies and promise jobs b/c they know them. THERE IS NOW WAY *MICHAEL POZ* knows the CEO of Johnson and Johnson. I in fact are in contact with J & J and they are monitoring the situation very carefully.
This firm needs to be shut down. Their scam cannot go on much longer, especially with the vulnerability in this job market. I was fortunate to save my money, but I would like to help others keep theirs as well. Do not give a dime to harvard professional group.
