Here I am trying to get an education, trying to learn how to become a hairdresser. What a JOKE at LIBS in Bensonhurst Brooklyn. I took out a loan that unbeknownst to me wasn't even a student loan for about $7000, then showed up at school for my Saturday class from 9 to 5 and was told by a teacher that I should look busy because he or she? Didn't feel like teaching.
So I preceded to do nothing all day, finally I got sick of paying for nothing wrote a letter expressing my disgust not to mention the $4oo bucks I shelled out for what was supposed to be all the items I would need for beauty school, all I got were 2 manequins some cheap scissors, some combs, brushes, a blow dryer, 1 box of clips a plastic cape cheap uniform, end papers curling iron, you get the picture, all this I could've bought myself for a the most $200.
Okay so thats it nope, more I go to my class were I expect to be treated at least as if I pay money to be there like a consumer or a customer even being treated like a student wouldn't have been bad.
After my second teacher decided that she would tell me that and I quote "What do you think I wanna be here" Well honey if you don't want to be here then why are you here, cause I'm trying to better myself and my life by coming to school.
Think if you will for a moment if your teacher tells you they don't want to be teaching you. Well with an attitude like that I decided I had to do something. Not only am I being taken advantage of financially but now someone is bringing me down because maybe they're only there for the benefits in the first place and they couldn't give a rats ass if someone learned anything from them anyways.
So I tried once again to bring this to the attention of the people whom I had entrusted with my money and hopefull career. Hoping that their concern would be that of the people keeping them in business ME, and I tried to speak with their so called manager one of the board of directors wives.
As I entered her office I was greeted by "Oh you must be so inso?" "No" I replied and then she tried another name on me still not me, so she tried asking me my name "Hello" would've been nice but anyways, she pulled my file and asked what my problem was.
As I started to explain to her that one of her teachers didn;t want to teach me and that she had also told me that she was going to quit 3 weeks earlier and that she had a terrible attitude towards myself and other students and that I felt that she was interfering with my education.
Well the manager didn't want to hear it I mean if you've been busted for illegaly falsifying identities so that you may obtain money from the government as if a students tuition of almost $10.000 isn't enough, then I'm sure you're a little tired of people telling you whats wrong with your business, alas you still have a responsibility to your paying customers, ME.
So after telling me I should be the one to give up my career at quit school and after me refusing to the manager decided she should yell at me with all of her vocal choirds doing over time for such a small lady I'm surprised she didn't give her self a heart attack she yelled at me and said"I want you out of here I want you gone from this school!!!"
Well first of all where is your proffessionalism and why are you yelling at me as you have the right.
So I yelled back not to much cause I didn't want to make her deaf but just enough to let her know that you don't yell at people just because you're having a bad day especially when they put money in your pocket. So now because I'm the bad guy supposedly she calls the police and has me escorted off school property with no hope of returning.
Well what about the $10.000 I took out in a loan for you people thatsome how I have no control over, I'm supposed to have the police called on me escorted off school property, expelled from school indefinitley, pay off a loan for services I didn't even recieve, have no career because I didn't finish school therefore I have no license and be quiet all because a private beauty school wants to collect money from unsuspecting citizens with no questions asked.
Well I don't think so I don't have $10.000 to throw away and if I did I wouldn't throw it to wolves dressed in sheeps clothing. I want my money back, and don't even try keeping the grant my pell grant money for hours I didn't even attend at school.
What happened to customer service what happened to getting what you pay for?
