I don't feel as if i should pay for a education, that i didn't get. Before i enrolled to this school, I had smoke to a enrollment counselor and i was told "That after I finished school, I would be a full fledged Automotive Technician.
I can not be a full fledged Mechanic, I am only qualified enough to be a lube tech. I went to this school, because i wanted to be able to fix my own vehicle. I am not educated enough to fix my own vehicle.
I have to pay somebody to fix my vehicle. I am extremely disappointed in the education that i was given. I feel like they just tell you things to get you into their school.
Before i started it seemed like most of the staff new my name and smile in my face. Once i actually started school those same people, didn't speak or even smile any more. Now i was just a number.
This school was suppose to be a college, they treat you more like you're in High School. They tell you what you can and can't wear.
People do drugs and drink on the premises. There are students that they are open to the staff and faculty that they do drugs and drink and these students are still able to operate machinery and drive the vehicles.
The Classes are way too big, not enough teachers. A lot of the times you can't see whats going on when the teacher is doing a demonstration.
If we were doing a project we would have to wait forever for some help from a teacher, a lot of the times the students have to explain stuff to the students and sometime you wouldn't receive help.
By the time the teacher was able to help you, class would be over. We had to purchase books that we hardly ever used.
I have complained about this school, on different occasion and nothing ever gets done. I even talked to the director after i had reported the school to the better business bureau.
This man took all of my complaint and said that he would look in to things and get back to me, well I am still waiting for him to get back to me.
See I feel like this school is very unprofessional. I am just very disappointed in this school.
This is suppose to be a college, but they treat you and it feels more like a High school. Even some of the students act like they are still in High school.
One of my classmates was killed and the school really didn't do anything, I'm not saying that the school should of shut down for that day.
I feel like they should of made a announcement about his death, and kept the students informed when his funeral was going to be. They should of had something for the grieving students or even let them leave.
It just made me feel as if they didn't care, about this student and it was wrong. The staff was very rude, would walk by you and not even speak.
Even some teachers after you left their class would act as if they didn't know you.
I had two Teachers @ this school that i loved and that treated me like more then a student. They were and are still very helpful to me now.
Those two teachers that I love are Mr. Jones and Mr. Franco. These two treated me like more then just a student. If i need something right now and i call them or see them, they will be more then willing to help.
These were the only two teachers that i could sit down with and share personal information with out them judging me or treating me different.
