In 1998, I fell on a wet floor at work... I was nauseous, ran to the restroom slipped on the wet floor, throwing me onto the camode... I raised my right arm, to protect my face, my head hit my arm and broke my right arm...
Since then, I have been having severe headaches, having to go for cranial therpy weekly... The fall knocked my jaw out of wack... I had to go to dentist for a mouth piece to ware to try to straighten my jaw... Royal & Sunalliance would not pay for the dentist...
A few days after I fell, being dizzy just about all the time... I got up from a chair, and was so dizzy, that I fell over a trash can in the kitchen... I had to be rushed to the emergency room, and they called in a plastic surgen... Royal & Sunalliance wouldn't pay for that.
All during this time, they would take 2 weeks or more, and still do, to ok my medicine.
I also had two surgeries on my right arm, and it still bothers me quiet a bit.
Also, in 1996, I was diagnosised with Fibromyalgia because of jumping legs at night. Well, when I slipped and fell, it caused trauma to my body, and the FMS went out of control... There wasn't and isn't, a part of me that is not in constant pain... It takes me forever to type anything.
Then in the middle of paying me Workmans Comp, they decided to lower my pay... I got a lawyer and we met with the person from Texas Workman's Comp. The person from Royal & Sunalliance didn"t show... So, on the phone, the person from Texas Workman's Comp, and the insurance person, with my lawyer and me, they settled for amount of over $2000.00, back pay... I never received that money... I kept calling my lawyer, and he did nothing...
When Royal & Sunalliance sent me to a doctor for my final evaluation, the doctor gave me an overall disability rating of 35%... Royal & Sunalliance, did not like the number, so they flew another doctor in from Houston, who spent about 5-8 min.
With me, he of course, gave them a number they liked, 0%
disability...
In October, my headaches were so bad that my husband had to take me to the emergency room two times... I couldn't stop throwing up, and my headaches wouldn't stop... My husband call my adjuster, Jessie Njoku, and told her that he was having to take me to the ER... Of course, since I am treated weekly for headaches, I gave the hospital, Royal & Sunalliance information... I have received papers from my adjuster, that Royal & Sunalliance will not pay for this.
Also, I have been having problems with my sight... I am loosing sight mostly in my left eye... On my own, I am seeing doctors to try to find out what is causing this... Since my fall, I have had nothing but digression... I don't know, if you know anything about Fibromyalgia, but everytime that I get upset or stressed, my pain gets worse...
Since, I have to drive so far to my doctor, for cranial therpy, I send invoices monthly for milage payment... The first check, they finally sent me was after 13 months. The next check was for about 10 months... All this time, I am calling Jessie, to please send me my money... Since, I get no disability from them and can't work, I need this refunded. At this time, I have sent monthly invoices to be paid since last October.
I have called my adjuster, Jessie Njoku, (972-735-9941) many times, asking her to please send me a check... Many times, she had said that she has given it to her associate, to send in for payment... This has happened no less than 10 times.
I had to have foot surgery, last week, so I had ask Jessie to please send me my money ($400) so that I would have it to pay for my surgery...
Last thursday, Jan. 23, I spoke with the associate, and Jessie, still had not OKed the invoice to be paid... I had to go thru Hassle Free Pharmacy Services, so I didn't have to wait so long for my medicine... Hassle Free Pharmacy will no longer take my prescriptions because of not being paid by Royal & Sunalliance.
I have gone thru HELL with this Workman's Comp.insurance Co... I do not understand why they are so abusing... I guess because they can...
