I would like to join any class action suit against Royal Holiday. While vacationing in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in August my friend and I was asked to become Royal Holiday owners. We stated we could not afford to buy, we already had another timeshare. My friend, Karen stated the only way we would buy a Royal Holiday package was if Royal Holiday would purchase our current timeshare. The sales rep stated that Royal Holiday buys other timeshares all the time, etc., etc. He took all the information on our timeshare and stated it would be a couple of months before all paperwork came through. We decided to go with Royal because we like traveling the Caribbean and using our other timeshare we always had to use RCI to exchange. Anyway, we signed the contract but did not review the contract thoroughly (which is on us), now we find that Royal Holiday cannot and is not in the business of buying other timeshares. We are currently trying to see what options are out there for us. Any help would be appreciated.
