I was ripped off by Leasecomm too. Jan of 99 I went to a business seminar held by HBG. They were talking very nice and were very polite and pretty much made eveybody feel how important is to have a merchand account and how vital is for a business. We were pressured by HBG to sing the lease and I was assured that once I have that up and start generating an income I could pay it all off in no time. I was not sure of what to do and they right away suggested that I sign and I could cancel within 3 days if its not what I want.
So I signed this paper that only has my name on it and gave them a voided check and took the package. This package consisted of some papers and I think the virutal terminal package. After looking at the price and some reaserach I decited to cancel and to not take the risk.
To make a long story short I barely got ahold of them (after trying the HBG and directed me over to Leasecomm. I called them two days later and faxted them the notice to cancel. After a month passed by I started to get billed 79.90 / month. I called them and I was told that I have a 4 year lease which is non chancelable. I tried to talk to them and explained them that I canceled it and they said that I did not. They lied to me and they were very rude.
I did not want any bad creadit on my report so I paied for the whole damn thing even through I never used it. Also HBG (the co that signed me up) went out of business shortly after I signed up. Now 1-14-03 my lease was up and I again called them and sent them notice. I also put a stop payment on the 79.90 on my bank account just in case.
I just hope they are not gonna say that I owe them money anymore. I basicly paid $4000 for nothing over a 4 year period. I was definetly ripped off by these snakes and low life looser. But one day they're gonna get it for this. I have a urge in me right now to go attend get all the names, addresses and #'s and spoil all the internet seminars that involve Leasecomm. God I hope something bad happenes to all the people responsible for this mess.
