ITT Tech is the biggest joke of a school in the country. The classes are roughly 1775 a piece, and not trasferable AT ALL. This is about 55% more than a class at your local comunity college. The idiot who gets you enrolled hardly stays at the school for more than six months. The person who enrolled me was nowhere to be found about two month after I started. And the fact that they told me that the credits were transferable, and then I cannot even prove it becasue the person who enrolled me is not there, is moronic to say the least.
Yes, they will pass you even if you cannot pass yourself. Every quarter there is a teacher evaluation, if more than a few people give a bad evaluation, the teacher is gone. Becasue of this they always watch you closely when doing this evaluation, and sometime go as far as giving you a high test grade for doing so.
Since I started the school has about a 50% change in staff. The Dean is not there any longer, which they say is because she went to another ITT Campus. This might be true, but probably not.
Now I have a - load of loans from Sallie Mae, which I am not sure I will be able to pay off, becasue the job I will be able to get will not pay me enough to support myself. This school is Crap, please do not make the same mistake I made and go there. They will screw you so hard you will not know what happened later. Please, Please, Please, do not go there.
We, as in the people in my class are so mad about it, we even talked to a Lawyer about some sort of class action law suit. They are ripping us off, and using shady sales tactics to get you enrolled in the school in the first place.
Now the worst part is, I cannot go to another school. I cannot pay for it, and I cannot afford to take any more loans, to start over. If the BS Degree they will give me soon could be transfered, that would be nice. But it cannot, so to leave a school with 40,000 in loans, and have a BS degree is wrong. And they actlike that is right. One of my buddies got a job, which the school thinks is great. He gets about 15 bucks an hour, and his monthly loan payment is about 350. How in the hell can he live on that.
I can assure everyone of one thing, Carma always gets you back. And one day those scumbags at ITT Tech will have to live with the consequnces of their actions. And hopefully I will be the one to do it to them.
This school will not help you in the long run. And please do not get loans from them, I have seen loans as high as 27% for people, while the school knows theey are giving out loans the student will never be able to pay back.
Do youself a favor, do not waste your time!!!
