The following is a dreadful experience of discrimination and racism at SANFORD BROWN INSTITUTE, HOUSTON, TX.
I was criminally assaulted at SANFORD BROWN INSTITUTE HOUSTON TX by a the husband of Surgical Technician Training Program, the details of which are as follows:

I student of PT Training Program bring the following to your notice:
On 14th February at about 1.30 PM I went to a room on third floor of the institute to make a photocopy of one of the pages of the POST MID-TERM EXAMINATION PAPER of Module A.
As I was about to make a photocopy a lady appeared from the back room speaking very contemptuously asking me that if I was a student, to which I replied YES I AM. She told me in a very rude tone that I was not allowed to make photocopies at her machine and I should go down to use the photo copier.
I told and showed the lady that I had only one page to photocopy at that the lady snatched the paper out of my hand shouting literally that I was making illegal copies of the examination paper. I tried to explain to the lady that it was a POST-TEST PAPER but she took it for granted that I was committing an illegal act frowning and looking contemptuously at me and making sarcastic remarks.
In the room in front of the place where the photo copier is placed was another lady sitting who never bothered to check me while I was trying to operate the machine.
With the paper in hand the lady went into the front room while I was trying to tell this lady of my part of the story that I was not doing anything illegal, a man appeared from the back room wearing black colored dress (sports shirt and pants) who shoved his elbow forcefully straight into my chest and shouted at me STAY AWAY.
Had I not moved myself away his elbow would have struck me right into my chest. The lady neither bothered nor tried to stop that man and called the Director of Education telling him that a student is using the photo copier un-authorizedly and illegally making copies of an exam paper.
This lady told me scornfully that I should go to the fifth floor to see the Director of Education.
I went to the fifth floor to report the incident to the Director of Education where the Incharge PT Training program was also sitting.
I explained to the Director of Education the whole events that happened, and the incharge pharmacy technician program sent an instructor with me to locate the person who tried to criminally assault me on campus but that man had disappeared.
This incident involves the Program Director Surgical Technician Training Program, and another lady who is her secretary and her husband and myself.
I came to know through the instructor that that lady is the Program Director of Surgical Technician Training program and upon asking from her that who the man was, she very proudly replied that it was the POLICE my husband.
This whole incident is very nerve shattering and deploring.
The Program Director Surgical Technician Training program categorically discriminated me and behaved with me as a RACIST looking down at me degradingly and insulting me without any genuine reason.
I have never been to that room before neither have I ever used that photo copier nor do I know that it was the office of the Program Director Surgical Technician Training.
The attempted criminal assault on me at the campus during school hours by her husband and shouting at me by him is a criminal act that could have been fatal to my life as I am a hypertensive patient.
This act of criminal assaulting at the campus and during campus hours by the husband of the Director Surgical Instructor Program is unwarranted and criminal which needs proper action in accordance with the four corners of the statute.
The unwarranted and derogatory behavior exhibited towards me by the Program Director Surgical Technician Training Program needs to be addressed by Sanford Brown Institute.
Immediately after the incident the instructor who accompanied me took me to a separate room and scared the shit out of me telling me about the consequences which I will have to face in case I tried to pursue my case which left me too scared.
However, I filed a report of the incident with the Director of Education, who told me that within two days my grievance will be resolved and requesting me that not to report the matter with the police as it will bring bad name to the Institute.
I contacted the DE on different occasions after that but he never gave a satisfactory reply. Mean while I went too occupied with my Certification examinations and I was unable to follow up the complaint with the DE.
As I got free I tried to contact the DE but was informed that he has left the school and a Pakistani doctor was now working as the DE.
On asking the new DE about my complaint he declined that no such complaint has been left by the outgoing DE. Meaning thereby that the administration was bent upon throwing my complaint below the rug and to deprive me from the statute of limitation.
I feel that I was too naive in the first instance that I did not report the matter to the police and acted in accordance with the institute policy.
Can some one let me know about the statute of limitation, If a act happened in February till how long can I file a police report.
I submitted another complaint copy with the new DE but he till now is declining to take any action or giving me a reply.
This state of affair is really pathetic. I could have been got killed but the administration of SANFORD BROWN INSTITUTE, HOUSTON TX is acting so irresponsibly. I never knew that photocopying is such an expensive and humiliating experience at Sanford Brown Institute.
Can someone advise as to how should I take up this matter with the Federal Education Department or legally.
