I feel very Stupid after I got duped by Coaching Institute. If there is anyone who can get an award for the sleekiest business... It has to be Coaching Institute. I reported them to our association and their CE promotion was stopped, yet they continue to come in town with the same ad and there are reators who were sucked in. You would think they gladly give the money because of misrepresentation. No way, Not Coaching Institute!
They come giving you continuing education, a free lunch and a speaker that looks honest and tells you that if you do not make money, you get your money back. Little did you know once they pocketed your money, no way could you get your money back. They tell you, " they will open a credit card for you, no interest for one year, and by the time a year you would have made more than the $3,000.00 they charge you." I was told by some realtors that took the course, that if you did nt make money in a year and want your money back, they will blame your broker for not helping you.
The program is supposed to help me get my website. They do a bait and switch scheme. The marketing is absolutely pressured. No time to read the contract which is non refundable because the proctor just pushes the contract to you and kept telling you "absolutely your money back guarantee". You are lead to believe that you get your money back. I have sent four certified mails, begged them, asked our local arbitration service to help.
I have not gotten a single service from them because I realized they are scams, (Remember, we were told in class that it is illegal to guarantee anything to your client and why should they be different? I thought deeply about it and I would never, never tell anyone that they would make money when I do not know the future.) so before I even get started I asked them for my money back. Besides, I do not have the $3,000.00 to pay them even after a year. They are adamant to keep the money. They would rather keep the money than clear their reputation. The "money back guarantee is absolutely" a lie
There is code of ethics to follow in business but this business is absolutely in to ruin your lives, get your money, and they know darn well, you can not fight back. Together we can fight back. Let us have a class action suit. Trace me from the Henderson area and my name is listed, or to the Greater Las Vegas Realtor Association. This business will continue to make money out of your misery.
I read all your complaints and it feel "I've been there" and feel so much cheated, just like you. I have a family that is needing me but this campany has ruined me, taken my money and headed to the bank laughing at our miseries. This has to stop!!! Together we should prevail.
