Perfect credit ruined as qualified investor, foreclosure lurking

Like others who have posted their dissatisfaction with Visions Investment Group, we also were misled into believing this was a great and plausible way to make additional income and more. The seminar was given by Jon Lowry (key speaker), Eric Foster, and Don Gressmen. They were quite convincing that you would be personally coached through the year long/4 steps of the Summit system, with the guarantee of replacing your current income with residual income in 12 months or your tuition refunded.

We started with filling out a large packet of goals and objectives and financial information, which seemed reasonable at the time. Finally our training began with Byron Workman, who seemed quite intelligent and sincere. However, the coaching calls were mostly Byron speed-reading from "scripted" material with a lot of quotes and catch phrases. I tried to take notes, but then he stated not to, that there would be follow-up e-mails with all the info he was presenting, which of course never came. The calls which had to be scheduled a least a week in advance were always late and ended early for some reason or another, or not made because he was "sick".

Before we really ever got into the real "meat", lo and behold they had a credit optimizer deal for us. We began the fiasco of applying for a loan to buy a property, in all places, Florida (my first red flag)... Byron assured us that it was a great deal and we couldn't lose... Our already 800 perfect credit, would get even better because we would be showing a "positive cash flow".

After several conversations with Byron explaining how this all worked, we agreed to go along with the process. It was curious how when I tried to call and ask a question about the process or loan, no one was availalbe... Lot of sick people in that office or out of town for the week... Yet, when they needed us to provide another document or signature, they almost harassed us until we responded.

Once the loan was finally approved and processed, approx. $25000 was needed to close. Visions had difficulty coming up with the money and actually asked us to front them the money and they would reimburse us (2nd major red flag). Thank god I wasn't dumb enough to do that! I did incur numerous expenses faxing and overnighting documents, etc. All said and done, we finally closed.

The first mortgage payment was due Jan which they did pay. Feb was late, March was even later, and no additional payments have been made since as of 5/31/08. I have been asked by Visions to make the payments until such time they can and they will reimburse me. I don't think so. When I call Visions, no one is available to answer my question and e-mails are not returned.in the lucky event that I am able to talk to Robert S. Or someone else, I'm given some lame excuse or promise of how they're working on the situation. They obviously have not been able to put it under contract and it has set vacant ever since (found this out from bank). What happened to the guaranteed end buyer as stated in the seminar and brochure???

Now we are facing foreclosure and am not sure what to do, except there is no way I'm making any payments toward this property. Our credit will is ruined and will likely have a foreclosure listed as well.

BOTTOM LINE: Avoid this company like the plague!!!
I was given $3000 for "the deal" which didn't add up to the correct
