I just want to add support to what David from Afghanistan said. I just realized that freecreditreport.com has been charging my credit card since November. I got on the phone with them and ended up getting a promise that charges to my account will be credited to my card. David is right, stay on the phone with these people; ask to talk to supervisors; ask, "What do I have to do to get a refund." Be firm but polite. The people working the phones are very pleasant and professional and not at all hostile, but you have to push them. Good luck!
