Seriously what do you do about people who somehow find a Visa number and begin placing charges onto it. Thank goodness I have an excellent bank that caught the charges within 10 mins. Also a small amount charged $25 total scattered over 6 different appearances (APL*ITUNES, IVORYWHITE, BELLACLR, GRANTCONSULTANTCREW) some of these have more than one charge. I was stunned. Took the next step filed with sherrif's dept. Can't emphasize this enough. They then will start the process of fraud. I also no longer have this card. Really cost me more in the long run with time.
Now have about 3 hours into this just trying to track all the places that this card is on file and how to resolve not having a cc (only have the one) as I have online and automatic billing which occurs. So what do we do as a public to go after these rotten people who think it is great joy in making misery for everyone else? My vote is ship them to another country where there are no freedoms and take away their rights! I am so mad I am going to be sure to tell the story to all I know and continue to spread the word of caution. How much more careful can one be. I do not freely hand out the number to my CC nor do I typically type it into unsecure sites. If fact I am launching my own investigations into where I think my information was compromised!
