There are ad's on job boards out there with this company offering Sale Rep postions. The individuals are saying they will pay you upfront your first months salary. What happens is they send you a contract you sign it and fax it back to a number that later will be disconnected.
They e-mail you only saying they will send you a check, but it has to come from there distributor or client. The amount will be large and you will wire the difference back to them. The problem is that this check they send will come back 2-3 weeks later as a NSF.
Thankfully I never wired them any money otherwise I would have ben out 16,000.
I contacted Suntrust and they said they had 5 cases already and one gentlemen actually sent them back 27,000 and is out that money. BEWARE these are criminals and they will be caught sooner or later and hopefully proscuted soon...
