I saw the Kiyoseki Hair Straightener informercial. Looked like a good item that would replace my hair straightener and curling iron, and help keep my hair healthier. Endorsed by Carmen Electra, how could I go wrong?
I used credit card and ordered. When shipment came, I inspected the iron closely to find dirty fingerprints on it, a sticky spot of something spilled on it, dirt underneath on the pads the iron rests on, and red wax crayon marking on iron's clamp. Undeniably a used iron.
This is a $120 item.
Also broken plastic housing for the iron in the box they sent, plus kit did not contain styling DVD as advertised.
But that's not all!
Went to plug it in... Iron didn't even work.
Called customer service. Lady with attitude said they'd send out a mailing label I could use to send it back in 10-14 days. No "sorry for the inconvenience" or "kiss my butt" or anything.
Sending a used item like this to customers is dispicable. Check everything you order and make sure they sent you something new, not something borrowed and busted. This is infuriating.
