I received a letter yesterday saying that i could be a mysery shopper. I have received many letters before but not one like this. It seemed very fishy but interesting because I was actually told that there are mystery shoppers out there. When I received the check I didn't believe it so I called the 1-888 number on the check to the bank to verify that it was an actual check and it was, they asked for the check number and told me the amount for the check ($4998). I still believed that it was too good to be true so I deposited into my checking account. I told my bank that it might not be a real check I was kind of skeptical... Well, to make a long story short, I called the bank they told me the check was a fraud and now my account is -10,000, 009.02. I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY!!! I was hoping that the bank could just let me know that the check was not real and that was it, Im not a criminal and I know that I am not the only one who is going through this. I don't know what's going on I don't want to go to jail for something I had no knowledge of. I hope someone can help me. I have a copy of the letter that was sent to me and a copy of my bank statement. I hope who ever is behind this goes down!!!
