Our belongings were picked up in San Diego, CA for a move to Ohio on 6/5/07.
The items that were eventually delivered 20 days later were damaged, no longer covered with furniture pads and approx. $3000 in items were missing!
When delivered the drivers actually knew what was IN the boxes and one of them asked if he could have a skateboard for his son. The bulk of the missing items were DVD's, CD's, video games and equipment. I wonder who is now the proud owner of all our property that took years and years to collect.
The drivers asked us for cash for gas when they arrived and when told no, we had paid (overpaid) our fees by check and credit; they were actually irritated that we would not give them money.
They placed stuff outside in the yard and driveway, took only some of it inside the house and left the rest outside in a rain storm.
The moving company lied, they stored our belongings without permission after they told us it would never leave the truck it was loaded on when picked up. They ripped us off and I want to be paid for our damaged and stolen items.
