I sold a 50 item lot on eBay on 11/04/07, and the buyer paid through PayPal. I bought her shipping label in PayPal to have the seller protection that PayPal misled me into trusting. She left feedback on eBay on 11/23 after receiving the package.
Later PayPal emailed me that her bank was requesting the money be reversed. I emailed the buyer. She said fraudulent eBay/PayPal charges were taken from her account, so the bank was researching all of them, but she sent the bank a message that she had received my package. I tried several times to get PayPal to look at this, but they emailed me that they were sorry for the delay in their reply.
"Inquiry Closed and Payment Reversed. Thank you for responding with details about this recent transaction. We have completed our investigation. Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse you for this bank reversal. We appreciate your cooperation with this inquiry, this case is closed. Sincerely, Paypal"
They claimed it was because USPS online tracking did not show the package as delivered. The buyer's statement that she did receive the package was NEVER taken into consideration. I contacted them over and over, and they continued to falsely accuse me of making a fraudulent transaction. I had a NEGATIVE HOLD that created a negative financial impact that has destroyed my power seller business and income source. eBay would NOT refund fees or help in any way either. I was ripped off for everything!
