Sedgwick CMS is the Disability Insurance Agent for AT&T. They are cruel, ruthless, and unethical and protected by the Board of Directors of AT&T to do their calling. The AT&T Corporation, Sedgwick CMS, and parent Fidelity National Financial should be looked at to have complaints filed against them in the following areas: They want to break the backs and banks of the disabled.

Why?
They abused and terrorized after the change of control of AT&T", they pulled my file of 15 years that was always approved because I complied with every medical and administrative requirement. I also had been approved three months earlier—2006.
They removed my benefits in January for no cause. They said they googled me. That means they found unverified, untrue information and withheld my only income.
In February, Sedgwick requested an extensive amount of irrelevant information including 15 years of tax returns and requests for 15 years of authorizations for Sedgwick to get my tax returns from the IRS; all for no cause. They never questioned my medical condition until the summer, when they found nothing else; they began to attack my eligibility for benefits. Obviously, on a fishing trip to disqualify me, possibly because of the high income I received.
I had to second mortgage my house; I regressed further into my illnesses. My disabled children suffered. I am a single parent of these my adopted children, one mentally retarded.
I also believe that this all occurred co incident with me sending a letter of suggestion to Ed Whitacre, The CEO of the new AT&T and immediately his assistant was in my pharmacy files and copied his response from the Executive offices to Sedgwick claims manager who told me that. She then denied it.
Telephone calls to the AT&T General Counsel, EVP of HR, The EVP Communications, Letters to the AT&T Board of Directors, and the CEO Stephenson all ended without action or required audit. Fiduciary responsibility dismissed by the AT&T CEO's office to the Sedgwick Corporation, the people committing the acts of torture and abuse of ERISA Policy and Plans.

Immediately before the Federal Court session that would lead to discovery and trial, the AT&T attorney advised my attorney that AT&T was reinstating my benefits since they had received all patient notes and medical records from my physicians. Sedgwick had also declared to the plaintiffs Physician that "they did not require any further medical information." They also committed to place me on standard periodic reviews.
Days after this commitment before a Federal Judge which made moot my Federal lawsuit, I received another letter from AT&T's insurer Sedgwick that they were yet again going to need a medical review in December, including possibly psychiatric testing.
I was outraged this appearing that my benefits were not reinstated, but that this was a manipulation to continue an ongoing investigation. I immediately contacted my attorney and advised that I felt this was a deception of their commitment and the standard review provision as well. They again were acting in Bad Faith. No action was taken.
I addressed this issue in my Motion for Fees Affidavit.in December I received a letter from Sedgwick, not only stating that I was being subjected to a review, requiring medical files, and psychiatric notes, but that they wanted to know my daily whereabouts.
Clearly violating my Doctor's orders to be involved, in essence veiled threats about me exercising my hobbies and restricting my rights of free activity within my abilities. More veiled threats of my rights as a United States Citizen to be a member of any organization without threat of repercussion... I felt that I was under communist rule.
But the quest and torture continues in 2008. Over the past 14 months, I have become a recluse; I am terrorized by this Sedgwick CMS, the agent of AT&T.
These Mental Torture abuses, violations of ERISA, arrogance by AT&T to ignore Fiduciary responsibility all fundamentally add up to a corporate system that is out of control. It is clear that I have not only lost my equal rights as an insured person, but that Corporations influence over our Government Agencies have become such a threat that the power of these responsible Agencies have been demurred by back room power politics and demands of Corporate interests.
It appears that those truly disabled (not the frauds) will be continuously harassed until AT&T and Sedgwick meets their financial bottom lines. We are also now on the verge of losing rights as American Citizen as well. When will someone take a stand? I need support.
