I obtained the assistance of Premier Family Services in order to help me with my divorce/child custody case. I paid them $90 to join and was told that they could do all of the paperwork and provide me with attorneys to answer any legal questions for a total of $760. When I paid them that amount, they then told me that the price was going to be an additional $80 because it was to be filed in Florida.
It took them almost 2 months to fill in the blank forms that you can obtain for free online. I finally received my paperwork 2 days before it was required to be received by the courts. I had to pay $44 to have it sent overnight so that it could be processed into the courts on time.
One of the promises that were made to me was that I would be prepped by an attorney for the hearing, the day before. I made the phone call as instructed and was never able to speak to an attorney. I made numerous attempts to try and get in contact with supervisors, and an attorney. I was told by several representatives each time that I called, that an attorney would call me back.
I never received a call back at all. My hearing date came and went, I tried to contact someone again about the next step I was told by a representative "they have a lot of cases, and that everyone is trying to help the other cases that have deadlines." I asked them what about my case? They in turn responded once again "We will have an attorney call you. Big surprise no phone call.
Now due to the lack of advice and improper paperwork I am currently being held in contempt of court and have a court date for the 30th of March. I then contacted them to cancel my membership, and try to get some of my money back since they did not hold up to the agreement we had when they listed the services they would provide in my case.
It took a phone call of over an hour to get the representative to finally cancel my membership, and that any chance of a refund would have to be done in the form of an email. I have yet to receive a reply.
When I was made aware that I was being held in contempt due to Premier Family Services not filling out the paperwork properly, I contacted Premier Family Services in order for them to reconcile the problem. Nathaniel Hansen advised me that an attorney would call me within a week to help me with this problem. I received no call, but an email one week later telling me "The first thing you need to do is not to panic; the Contempt of Court thing is overkill and nothing will become of it; you just need to get them filed if you havent done so already."
I have paid them a total of $1,065 and asked that they reimburse me for the services that either they did not or improperly provided.
I am completely disgusted with the "customer service" their representatives, supervisors, and attorneys have so called provided. But most important there is a 5 year old, sweet little boy living in a household of filth with a completely unfit mother, who needs to be with his father.
This has yet to be accomplished because I have had to back track for months trying to get my case straight because of the lack of intelligence Premier Family Services brought to my case. Premier would not be my choice of words to describe their service or company.
