Deceptive Sale

When I ordered Leg Magic from Merchandise Direct, I was informed that payments would be charged in for increments. The first payment was to be charged on the date of purchase over the phone. The next payment was the be charged 30 days from the date I recived the product as a way of providing time to return the product before being charged.

My package arrived at the post office on January 30 and I did not recive it until February 14. I could understand being charged for this package on February 29 considering the date it arrived at the post office. However, I was charged on February the 24.

If that's not bad enough, I had also been informed that I could return the package free of shipping if disatisfied. Once I brought my Leg Magic home, I found a paper that informed me of the need to send a money order or check to cover return postage and handeling in the case that I decided to return the merchandise.

Further more, I have checked with my bank for any contact information that may have been provided to them by Merchandise Direct and searched online. So far I have found no way of contacting Merchandise Direct to complain or dispute my issues with them.
