Hello all,
I guess Im a victim of USBI. I moved apartments (20 feet) and I called my long distance carrier of the move and new phone number. After 2 weeks I receive a call from my long distance company sent a request to Qwest to notify them of my request. Qwest denied this request. I had to personally call them and them that I wanted the change. My wife and I did not authorize nor request Qwest long distance nor any other besides the current company and they refused to tell me who the interim long distance company would be. Lord and behold after 5 weeks, we get a 495.00 dollar bill from these phone sharks. I am presently in Italy for another 2 months. I advised my wife to dispute the bill to see what will happen. Is there any action that I may take at this point?
