I borrowed $150.00 on internet from usfastcash to help a family member with a promise to pay me back in 2 weeks. Well, family member did not pay me back so I am stuck. I could not come up with full amount so loan was rolled over. I have since been educated that it was an illegal transaction according to Ohio and Oklahoma payday lending laws. I have paid $405.00 to this company.By law I this loan should have only cost me $172.50 which I have no problem paying. I have a complaint filed with Ohio Attorney General. I even called the Ohio Department of Finances and was told that they have no jurisdiction on internet lending. I have put a credit only on my checking account. If I close bank account bank will allow it to reopen even though you revoked future transactions. I thought EFTA 15 USC 1693a (9) gives me the right to do so. This account by law should be paid in full. I have read other complaints about this predator lender. Is it a fact that they are located on an Indian reservation and no US entity has jurisdiction over them and is it also a fact that the persons that operate this lending business have an address in Las Vegas, NV.? I could not locate any information that this lender has a license to lend. Any advise or help will be greatly appreciated. Something needs to be done in regards to unlicensed predator lenders. I cannot believe that they are above the law.
